The 335 series is a universal, 3.3 lb-ft (4.5 N-m) net torque, 65 ° max rotation actuator with fast response, low current draw, and precision bearings.
The linear actuators are designed to provide highly accurate precise positioning for a close loop control with a minimum number of moving parts, which prolong the life of the actuator. The linear actuators provide a quick response time and can be use for different applications. The fast-acting actuator is completely self-contained. It requires only a firm mounting surface, appropriate linkage to the fuel control and electrical connection to the speed control unit. The actuators are not gravity sensitive and therefore can operate in any position. The actuators are compatible with GAC’s standard speed control units.
The 275 Series Electric Actuator is a second generation design more powerful than its predecessor. It is for Bosch-Style “P” 3000-7000 fuel injected Pumps. Coupling the 275 Series with a fuel pump results in a high performance fuel control system without external linkages or brackets. Two isolated chambers eliminates the possibility of any magnetic particles collecting and jamming the actuator. As a result, the 275 Series typically outlasts the life of a diesel engine and is maintenance-free. Camshaft bearing retainer kits, position feedback transducer and heavy duty bearing retention options are available.
The 180 SERIES Integral Actuator is designed to mount directly to Deutz 1013/2012 and Volvo 520/720 engines. The existing mechanical governor is removed from the engine and the 180 SERIES integral actuator is mounted in its place. GAC’s unique electromechanical technology provides proportional actuator movement, based on actuator coil current. This unique, optimized fuel control will out-perform externally mounted electric actuators. An integral high performance speed control system results when the 180 SERIES electric actuator is installed on the engine and electrically connected to compatible GAC governor system components. No external linkage or brackets are required.
