The linear actuators are designed to provide highly accurate precise positioning for a close loop control with a minimum number of moving parts, which prolong the life of the actuator. The linear actuators provide a quick response time and can be use for different applications. The fast-acting actuator is completely self-contained. It requires only a firm mounting surface, appropriate linkage to the fuel control and electrical connection to the speed control unit. The actuators are not gravity sensitive and therefore can operate in any position. The actuators are compatible with GAC’s standard speed control units.
The 180 SERIES Integral Actuator is designed to mount directly to Deutz 1013/2012 and Volvo 520/720 engines. The existing mechanical governor is removed from the engine and the 180 SERIES integral actuator is mounted in its place. GAC’s unique electromechanical technology provides proportional actuator movement, based on actuator coil current. This unique, optimized fuel control will out-perform externally mounted electric actuators. An integral high performance speed control system results when the 180 SERIES electric actuator is installed on the engine and electrically connected to compatible GAC governor system components. No external linkage or brackets are required.
The ATB Series integral throttle body electric actuators are designed to control the air or air/fuel mixture to a gaseous-fueled engine. The design baseline for the ATB Series incorporates fast response and proven reliability to allow for efficient and precise control. The ATB Series actuator directly drives the throttle plate with internal return springs, insuring that the throttle plate returns to the minimum fuel position when the actuator becomes de-energized.
