ADVR-2200M | Mcpherson Controls

The ADVR-2200M is a Hybrid Analog Digital Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) designed for brushless generator systems. It accepts sensing input of 220–600V AC at 60 Hz (DIP switch SW1/SW2 selectable), supporting single-phase or three-phase configurations (DIP switch SW3 selectable). Voltage ranges covered include 175–280V AC at 220V, 330–490V AC at 380/480V, and 500–660V AC at 600V.

The ADVR-2200M delivers an output of 85V DC at 110V AC input or 170V DC at 220V AC input, with a continuous current of 5A and intermittent current of 10A for 60 seconds. Excitation resistance minimum is 9 ohms. Voltage regulation accuracy is less than ±0.5% with 4% engine governing. Response time is less than 1 cycle. Maximum power dissipation is 12 watts.

The unit includes under-frequency protection with the knee point factory-set at 57 Hz for 60 Hz systems and 47 Hz for 50 Hz systems. External voltage adjustment of ±5% is available via a 500 ohm trimmer, or ±10% with a 1000 ohm trimmer. Current compensation supports 1 or 5A CT input (DIP switch SW3 selectable). Analog voltage input accepts 0–10V DC or 0–±5V DC. Thermal drift is 0.45% per °C change in AVR ambient.
