The SR7-2G is a generic replacement Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) for Mecc Alte brushless generators. It accepts sensing terminals (1,2 / 3,4 / 5,6) connectable to Y or 220–480V AC single-phase at 50/60 Hz. Power input accepts 50–270V AC, with voltage supply from 40–270V AC via auxiliary winding, output voltage, or PMG.
The SR7-2G delivers a maximum output of 63V DC at 220V AC input, with a continuous current of 6A and an intermittent rating of 10A for 10 seconds. Maximum continuous output current is 4A DC. Voltage regulation accuracy is ±1% from no-load to nominal load under any power factor, for frequency variations from -5% to +20% of nominal. Voltage recovery time is within ±3% of set value in less than 300ms. Transient overvoltage during startup is less than 5% of nominal voltage.
Excitation overcurrent protection with delayed intervention is included. Frequency range is 12–72 Hz. Operating temperature range is -25°C to +70°C.
