AVR AVC63-7 | Generic Replacement

The AVC63-7 is an Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) and generic replacement for the Basler AVC63-7, designed for brushless generator systems. It accepts an AC power input of 170–305V AC (single-phase, 50/60 Hz) with a maximum burden of 900 VA at 240V AC. AC sensing voltage range is 170–264V AC (single-phase, 50/60 Hz).

The AVC63-7 delivers a continuous DC output of 7A at 63V DC maximum with a 240V AC input. Minimum exciter field DC resistance is 9 ohms. Voltage regulation accuracy is ±0.25%. Voltage drift is less than ±1% for a 50°C change in temperature. Response time is less than 16ms. Maximum power dissipation is 35 watts.

The internal voltage adjust covers 170–264V AC, with an external voltage adjust providing an additional ±10% adjustment of the nominal value. Voltage build-up is automatic from residual generator voltage as low as 6V AC at 25 Hz. Paralleling provisions include a CT input for a customer-supplied 5A nominal CT, with adjustable droop from 0 to 6% at 0.8 power factor. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +60°C. Certified per CSA Standard C22.2 No. 14.
