The ADVR-054 is a Hybrid Analog Digital Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) designed for brushless generator systems. It accepts a sensing input of 170–520V AC (single-phase, 2-wire), DIP switch selectable between 220V and 440V configurations, at 50/60 Hz (also DIP switch selectable).
The ADVR-054 delivers a continuous excitation output of 63V DC at 5A, with intermittent output of 90V DC at 7A for 10 seconds. Field resistance range is 15–100 ohms. Voltage regulation accuracy is less than ±0.5% with 4% engine governing. Response time is 20ms.
The unit includes built-in under-frequency protection with the knee point factory-set at 45 Hz for 50 Hz systems and 55 Hz for 60 Hz systems. Over-excitation protection triggers after 5 seconds when input voltage exceeds 35% of the set point. Soft start ramp time is 3 seconds. Internal EMI filtering is included. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +70°C.
