The Mecc Alte SR7-2G (SR-7) is an advanced electronic Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) of compact size and economical price, designed to deliver reliable voltage regulation for Mecc Alte alternators.
The SR7-2G maintains a stable and consistent output voltage by automatically regulating the excitation of the alternator. Its adjustable voltage stability allows the output voltage to be precisely fine-tuned for each specific generator installation.
This AVR includes built-in low-speed protection with an adjustable intervention threshold, reducing excitation when the generator operates below the set frequency — protecting the alternator during startup or underload conditions. It also features overload protection with an independently adjustable threshold.
Compatible with both 50 Hz and 60 Hz generator systems. Remote voltage regulation is supported via an external connection, allowing voltage adjustment without direct access to the AVR board.
