ECC Series | Speed Controls

The GAC ECC Series is an electronic speed control unit designed to control engine speed with precise response to transient engine load changes. This closed-loop control, when connected to a proportional actuator and supplied with a speed signal/frequency from the main AC generator, controls a wide variety of engines in an isochronous mode, without the need for a magnetic speed pickup. The speed signal input must be within a frequency range of 40 to 80 Hz, making it a practical solution for installations where a magnetic pickup isn't available, governing the engine directly from the frequency generated by the alternator itself.
