The MSP6737 is a GAC magnetic pickup sensor (MPU) designed to detect engine speed by sensing the passing of flywheel teeth. It provides a precise speed signal to governors and control systems for accurate RPM management. It features a 3/8-24 UNF-2A thread, a 2.7 in (69 mm) length, and a 6 in (152 mm) harness with push-on terminals, requiring no external energizing circuit. It is compatible with all GAC electronic speed controllers as well as Woodward controllers, making it ideal for diesel and gas engines, industrial generators, and power equipment. A correct air gap of 0.5–1.5 mm between the pickup and the flywheel teeth is critical for proper signal quality; Power Master Inc. can advise on correct installation and adjustment.
